Terms of Service

1. Service

sshfingerprint.com is operated by Enigma Byte, LLC. The service accepts public SSH host keys, derives their fingerprints, and sends reports to a verified email address. It is an aid to verification, not a guarantee of server identity, security, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

2. Accounts and tokens

You are responsible for access to your verified email account, safeguarding API tokens, revoking exposed tokens, and ensuring submitted server labels and public keys are lawful and accurate. Accounts may hold up to 10 active API tokens, and each token expires 365 days after creation. Do not submit private keys, secrets, abusive traffic, or data you are not authorized to process.

3. Credits and payment

A credit is reserved when a fingerprint report is queued and consumed when Cloudflare Email Service accepts the report for delivery. A definitively failed queue or email submission returns the reserved credit. An ambiguous provider result may remain pending for reconciliation to prevent duplicate delivery. Credits expire 365 days after purchase, have no cash value, and are not transferable. Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. If we issue a full refund, unused credits from that purchase are revoked.

4. Availability and changes

The service is provided “as is” and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Enigma Byte, LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.
